This body was recovered in the early 1980s from the coal yard at Paisley Canal Station (G&SWR), to be used as "set dressing" in the locomotive yard at Bo'ness, where it remains. It combines historical interest with a very decayed condition. Given the extensive decay to its main framework, future restoration would require replacement of almost all the original timber. Since the original body would be lost in the course of that work, restoration is unlikely to be attempted.
